Anthony G. Simon

Anthony Simon has served as trial counsel in over 100 patent, trademark, and other intellectual property cases across the United States in addition to filing or defending innumerable inter partes proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. His cases include one of the first to hold that personal jurisdiction can be created by the presence of a web site on the World Wide Web accessible by residents of the forum.
He has filed and/or defended intellectual property actions involving a wide range of technologies including interactive television, surgical instruments, software and hardware, Internet, communications systems, interactive web sites, electrical equipment, cosmetic products, household appliances, safety products, automotive equipment and medical equipment. In addition to litigation, Mr. Simon has served as counsel for clients participating in alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration with the American Arbitration Association and non-binding mediation.
Mr. Simon is a registered patent attorney and has experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the mechanical and electrical arts, preparation of patentability and infringement opinions, preparation and prosecution of trademark applications, copyright counseling as well as licensing of these various rights.

Graduated from University of Notre Dame in 1988 with Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with Computer emphasis.
