Blogging the Law at Simon Passanante

Eight separate blogs are built into the new Simon Passanante website.  According to attorney Erich Vieth, these blogs give the firm the ability to communicate informally with users of the firm’s website.   The include the following:  Environmental Law, Tort Law, Commercial Law/IP/Antitrust, Medical Malpractice, Consumer Law/Class Actions, Products Liability, SP Verdicts and Settlements and What’s New at SP.

What is a blog?  “The term is short for “weblog,” according to Vieth.  A blog “is a website on which entries are posted and displayed in a reverse chronological order.   It is an ongoing series of short articles that allows Simon Passanante to share ideas that the firm considers significant.”

The posts on SP’s blogs take many forms.  Here are some examples:

• Interesting deposition testimony occurring in SP cases.
• New cases filed by SP.
