Missouri Lawyers Weekly highlights $3 million settlement

October 18th, 2007 by John Simon

This week’s issue of Missouri Lawyers Weekly includes a story about a $3 million settlement obtained on behalf of a Simon Passanante client.

The law firm represented the parents of a three-month-old infant who was receiving oxygen through an oxygen concentrator device. The baby died after a mixture of oxygen and baby oil ignited. It was alleged that the manufacturer and supplier of the device knew that baby oil was a possible ignition source but failed to warn users of the problem.

John Simon, a founding partner of Simon Passanante, represented the parents.
