St. Louis – Simon۰Passanante lawyer John E. Campbell, 29, has been appointed the Missouri coordinator of the Public Justice Foundation.
The Public Justice Foundation is a network of more than 3,000 attorneys and public advocates dedicated to advancing consumer rights, preserving the environment, upholding civil rights and liberties, preventing toxic injuries, defending workers’ rights and safeguarding the civil justice system. The Public Justice Foundation supports Public Justice, America’s public interest law firm, based in Washington D.C.
As the state coordinator for Missouri, Campbell will serve as a liaison to the Public Justice Foundation’s staff and national board. The state coordinator also develops public interest litigation, educates the community about public interest issues and networks with other public interest organizations. The appointment will complement Campbell’s work as a consumer rights attorney at Simon۰ Passanante.
“I am excited about this opportunity,” Campbell said. “The Public Justice Foundation and Simon۰Passanante are similar in a profound way: Both are dedicated to protecting each individual’s access to courts and justice.”
